The Grey Bruce OPP is investigating a weapons related incident in Grey Highlands on Tuesday afternoon that has led to an arrest.
Police received a report of a weapon at a local school around 12:47 pm on June 13th.
A 15-year-old from Grey Highlands was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The accused was released and is set to appear in an Owen Sound court at a later date.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Grey Bruce OPP advise there are no further safety concerns. They encourage students to report similar incidents immediately to school staff and police.
