Grey-Bruce OPP are up next in registering for the CAMSafe program.
CAMSafe allows residents and business owners within Grey-Bruce to register their security cameras and create a database in the community to support OPP when investigating crimes.
Those who register with the program will only have their cameras accessed once they’ve given permission to police to collect footage from the cameras.
Residents are only required to provide basic contact info and the camera location but can also include the direction the camera faces, footage retention details or screenshots of the camera view.
