It is aimed at creating a database of residential & commercial security cameras within a community that may act as a resource for police when investigating offences & crimes.

The Grey Bruce OPP has implemented the CAMSafe program.

It is aimed at creating a database of residential & commercial security cameras within a community that may act as a resource for police when investigating offences & crimes.

When a police officer uses the database they will see a map of the local area.

Officers can click on registered addresses to view further details, such as camera angles available as well as the property owner’s contact info.

Interested community members are only required to provide basic information and camera locations.

They can view, delete and change their info at any time.
