Grey-Bruce Public Health has issued an overdose alert across the region after two fatal and five non fatal overdoses reported over the past few days.
In both fatal and three of the non fatal overdoses, fentanyl is the drug suspected.
Public health says its important to follow harm reduction practices such as not using alone, taking extra caution when mixing substances and get overdose prevention training and carrying a naloxone kit.
