The Grey Bruce Health Unit has issued another Overdose Alert for the Region after reporting 3 non-fatal overdoses in a 24 hour period.
Fentanyl is the suspected opioid at play in the three cases.
The art is intended to advise people to exercise extreme caution when using unregulated street drugs, follow critical harm reduction recommendations, try to not use drugs alone or call the National Overdose Response Service if you cannot and are alone.
GBPH encourages all community members to carry and be trained to use naloxone, as it can save a life.
