Grey Bruce Public Health looking for Owner of Dog in Biting Incident in Chesley Aug. 17th

The incident occurred on Chesley’s main street and saw a man bitten while trying to separate the unleashed dog from his friend’s dog as the two were fighting.

Grey Bruce Public Health are seeing the public’s help in finding the owner of a medium sized dog that was involved in a biting incident in Chesley on August 17th.

The incident occurred on Chesley’s main street and saw a man bitten while trying to separate the unleashed dog from his friend’s dog as the two were fighting.

The dog that bit the man was possibly a blue heeler/shepherd mix.

GPBH need to confirm the dog is not infectious with rabies.

By doing so they can avoid the victim receiving the post-exposure rabies treatment.

Anyone with any info related to the incident is asked to call Grey Bruce Public Health.
