Dr. Ian Arra, Grey Bruce’s Top Doctor said in a release today that through efforts of the public and partners in Grey-Bruce the area is well positioned for a safe and successful lifting of the mask mandate.

Arra says he supports the government’s plan for the March 21st lifting for most indoor public settings, including schools and stores.

He adds the plan is measured and the time appropriate based on current data and trends related to Covid-19.

The move was announced by Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kieran Moore this morning. It will remain in place for high-risk settings such as hospitals, long-term care homes, congregate care settings, shelters and public transit.
