Grey Bruce Public Health is reporting three overdoses, including one fatal in recent days.

A Grey-Bruce resident died on Friday of a suspected fentanyl overdose.

It was believed the person in their mid-40’s had been using yellow and purple fentanyl as well as methamphetamine, intravenously and via inhalation.

The other two non-fatal incidents occurred on Friday and Sunday.

Naloxone, the fast-acting medication that temporarily reverses the effects of an opioid overdose, was successfully used as an intervention both of those cases.
