The Ontario Student Nutrition Program (OSNP) is looking for volunteers to help them bring healthy foods to Grey Bruce schools.
The program provides funding and support to 61 schools in Grey and Bruce Counties.
In a release, they cited sharply rising food costs and a loss of volunteers over the pandemic as potential challenges in delivering programming to schools this fall.
Danielle Findlay, Supervisor of Community Relations for OSNP says COVID demonstrated that school food programs are an essential service and it’s important that we get back to pre-COVID programming as soon as we can.
