Three Grey County paramedics have been recognized for their exceptional care and leadership.
Jeff Thomas, Evan Kraayenbrink and Mark Urquhart were all honoured during a county council meeting with the awards given by the Southwest Ontario Regional Base Hospital.
Jeff and Evan received the Medical Directors Award of Excellence for outstanding patient care and teamwork over a complex rural hospital response involving multiple critical ill patients.
Mark was recognized with the Medical Directors Award for Professional Contribution for his leadership in mentorship, education and support of paramedic practice.
