Kincardine has welcomed Guy Gallant as the newest Fire Chief who assumed the role on Monday.
Gallant brings in a list of experience in fire and emergency service with over 25 years holding positions such as Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief and an instructor at the Ontario Fire College who most recently was the Fire Chief for South Bruce.
Gallant says he looks forward to working with staff, council and his fellow firefighters at both Station 11 and 12 to ensure the safety of the community.
CAO Jillene Bellchamber-Glazier says they are confident Gallant will effectively lead the department to accomplish the muncipality’s strategic goals.
