A Kincardine family has a scary good idea to support the local food bank.

The Reids will be hosting their Halloween Haunt at the end of the month, collecting cash and non-perishables for the Kincardine Ministerial Food Bank.

Nicole Reid says you don’t know what you’ll find on the haunted walk through their yard on Boardwalk St.

“There’s lots of skeletons, spiders and spiderwebs,” she says. “You can just meander through, there’s little things that will jump out… you might meet the Grim Reaper.”

The Bruce Shrine Club will also be there selling Christmas products.

The haunt runs Friday Oct. 28 and Saturday Oct. 29 from 7-9 p.m.
