Hanover Police Service noticed a familiar address when they received a break and enter call… their headquarters.
Chief Chris Knoll went on Twitter to say that the suspect attempted to gain entry into the police station Monday night.
He says the suspect tried to get in through the staff entrance then cut the internet line to the station that affected police operations as well as neighbouring homes and businesses.
Officers were able to arrest and charge a 38-year-old Hanover man.
Chief Knoll ended his message by saying βIt’s never a good idea to break into the cop shop.β
