Hanover Police have received reports and are looking into a suspicious vehicle operated by an older male.

Police Chief Christopher Knoll says the male driver appeared to be taking photos of children in the backyard of a residence in the afternoon on March 2nd in the area of 14th St and 9th Ave.

The vehicle in question is a dark coloured SUV believed to be a Volkswagen Tiguan.

Police received another report of an older man stopping and giving out “Pot of Gold” chocolates to another child Thursday afternoon.

The man had told the child to give the chocolates to their mom.

Police are looking to see if the two incidents are linked.

Knoll adds to remind parents to keep their children informed about street safety and talking with strangers.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Hanover Police or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
