Hanover Police share word of Dog Swept Away in Saugeen River Thursday

The Hanover Police shared a report on Social Media Thursday of a husky dog being swept away in the Saugeen River.

In the post, Hanover Police Chief Christopher Knoll says it happened near the South Line Bridge.

Chief Knoll says it’s possible the dog made it to the river’s edge further down the stream.

The Hanover Police ask anyone who may spot the husky to contact the Hanover Police to so they can reunite the dog with it’s owner.
