The Hanover Public Library shared word of a program currently running at the library for those patrons with overdue fines.
They say for those people to drop by to have their fines forgiven. They are forgiving unpaid fines once per patron of the library.
The program runs until the end of the year and all you need is a library card and a piece of ID and ask to renew your account.
If you have unreturned items make sure to bring them with you as well and drop them off.
