The Kitchener-Waterloo Siskins released a statement on Tuesday on the news of the passing of one of their players, Owen Sound native Tyson Downs.
In the statement they say they are mourning the sudden loss of a cherished member of their team.
They add his passion for the game was infectious, and his dedication to the team was unparalleled.
They sent their thoughts and prayers to his family, friends and teammates during this difficult time.
The GOJHL also offered their deepest sympathies to the Downs family & the Siskins during this difficult time.
