The Realtors Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound has released the numbers from June and they show an increase of 22.8% in the number of homes sold through MLS versus the same period last year.
A total of 291 units were transacted with this sitting 8.8% below the 5-year average and 13% below the 10-year-average for June.
The MLS Home Price Index had the benchmark of a home sitting at $567,600, which is a decrease of 11.3% versus values last year.
The benchmark price of single-family home saw a similar decrease dropping 11.2% year-over year.
It sat at $574,700.
Townhouse/row units saw a steeper decline falling 16.6% as compared to last year, while apartments fell just 4.7% from year-ago levels to sit at $349,200.
The average price of a home sold in June 2023 was $681,817.
This is just a 1% decline from June 2022.
The total value of homes sold last month was $198.4 million dollars.
This is a 21.5% jump from 2022.
