Home sales in Huron Perth saw a 10.1% decline last month in figures released by the Huron Perth Association of Realtors.
There were 143 units sold in September with the number sitting nearly 20% below the 5 year average and just over 20% below the 10-year average.
On a year-to-date basis there were 1,360 units sold over the first 9 months of 2023.
This was a decline of just under 10% from the same period last year. The MLS Home Price Index has the benchmark price sitting at $565,700 last month which is unchanged from September 2022.
The average price of a home sold was $635,215, an increase of 0.7% from year ago numbers.
The total value of homes sold in September was $90.8 million dollars, which is down 9.4% from year ago figures.
