It was a successful virtual fundraising event for the Huron Shores Hospice.
Around 230 people tuned into last Thursday’s virtual Ungala Gala 2.0 that featured live entertainment as well as a live and silent auction hosted by Layne the Auctionista.
$182,500 was raised that according to hospice Co-Chair Cheryl Cottrill helps pay the bills.
Cottrill says she appreciates what the community has done and have stepped it up each year to help the hospice.
