The Walkerton and District Hospital Foundation dished out funding to the hospital coming from the support of the community.
The Foundation was able to forward $366,581 to the Walkerton Hospital to support equipment purchases for the year.
This year’s purchases includes 6 patient beds, 2 medication fridges, 2 external fetal heart monitors, a hematology analyzer, 7 vital sign monitors, 2 family birthing beds, 4 patient stretchers, a cautery unit, a hi-lo sink, 6 lamps and pediatric stethoscopes.
The foundation says these purchases are possible with the continued support of their generous donours.
