Complaints about ATV trespassing on private property and noise has continued to be an issue in Howick from residents.
Some tips have been shared by police and the Maitland Conservation Authority, who has also been contacted as ATV’s have been in the Maitland River.
Conservation Officer Drew Pegrum recommends property owners have no trespassing signs at all access points to their properties as well as the river.
The Conservation Authority has posted signs with yellow and red dots which indicate limited activity or no trespassing.
The township has also been urged to post signs on municipal property at access point son Alma Street in Gorrie.
