The Township of Howick advised residents of an upcoming Emergency Management Training that will be taking place this Thursday night at 7.
The Site Specific Emergency Training at the Howick & Belmore Community Centres will mean that Fire Vehicles and Personnel will be present at these facilities.
The Township says residents shouldn’t feel alarmed by their presence as it is strictly a training exercise.
They advise that improving their Emergency Management response is to better protect the community, patrons and workers.
