Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance advised of a temporary reduction in ER services at Seaforth Hospital beginning tomorrow.

They say due to sudden staff shortages related to Covid-19 the ER will be closing on Wednesday February 1st at 5pm and reopening on Thursday, February 2nd.

It will then operate from 7 am to 5pm for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

24 Hour Operations of the ER are set to resume in Seaforth on Monday, February 6th.

They say anyone requiring immediate medical attention should call 911 as paramedics remain available during the closures.

They will re-route to the nearest available ER.
