Huron Perth Public Health issued an update today following the approval by the Health Canada of the paediatric Pfizer-BionTech Covid-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11 years.
HPPH says they are not yet booking appointments for this age group but will provide further updates in the days ahead as provincial direction and vaccine supply details are confirmed.
They ask residents not to use the booking system for the 5 to 11 age group until HPPH announces appointments are open.
HPPH has setup a webpage with information for parents and caregivers about the vaccine. It will also provide details on local availability as soon as possible.
You can find it at hpph.ca/vaccine-kids.
