Huron-Bruce MP Ben Lobb introduces Motion on Food Allergies

With May being Food Allergy Awareness Month local MP for Huron-Bruce Ben Lobb spoke in the House on Monday to introduce a motion to further investigate food allergies in our society.

Lobb explains what having allergies mean to those impacted.

“This is a chronic medical condition, defined by its unpredictability, life threatening potential and absence of a cure.”

Food Allergies directly affect more than 3 million Canadians including more than 600,000 children.

Common food allergies include Eggs, fish, milk, peanuts, soy, crustaceans and mollusks.
