Huron County is set to celebrate Welcome Week running from September 8th to 17th.
The week is an annual campaign and celebration to showcase the movement of communities striving to be more welcoming places for all, including immigrants.
Events set for the County during the week include Welcoming Nights at the Public Libraries in Seaforth on September 11th from 7 to 8pm, in Goderich on September 13th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, in Brussels on the 14th from 7 to 8pm and a Welcome Booth at the Clinton Harvest Festival on September 16th from 11 to 4.
Welcome Week is hosted by the Huron County Immigration Partnership with support from Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada.
