Huron County hospitals are getting another boost from the provincial government who’ve invested $3,822,936 in the county.
The funding comes from an investment of $965 million for Ontario publicly funded hospitals to meet the needs of communities and continue to serve for years to come.
Hospitals receiving funding include the Seaforth Community Hospital with $1,018,569, the Clinton Public Hospital for $627,467 and the Wingham hospital receiving $624,300.
Andrew Williams, president and CEO of the Huron-Perth Healthcare Alliance says the increased funding will be key to maintaining a safe environment for the team and those they serve.
