Small Business Week is being celebrated in Goderich next week with a day of conversation, connection and practical learning.
Business owners across Huron County are invited for Main Street Matters on October 22nd at the Goderich Legion with the event looking at current data and insights about the county demographics and shopping behaviours, a panel discussion with local retailers and a hands on afternoon workshop focused on improving visual merchandising and maximizing sales potential.
“Lively and diverse downtowns are critical to the economic and social vitality of our communities, but they don’t happen by accident,” said Denise Van Amersfoort, Director of Planning & Economic Development for Huron County.
“They develop through local investment, thoughtful planning and businesses that give people a reason to spend time in our communities. Main Street Matters creates an opportunity for retailers and community partners to discuss shared challenges and explore ways to help our main streets remain competitive and resilient while facing complex challenges.”
Tickets are available half and full day starting at $30 with the workshop.
