Huron County Pride has issued a statement following decisions by area councils on the displaying of the Pride Flag for Pride Month in June.
In it they say they believe that every person, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression, deserves to be treated with respect and dignity adding the pride flag is a symbol of that belief.
They thank the many residents of Central Huron who have reached out to them with messages of support and encouragement.
They invite everyone to their June 10th Pride Festival in Goderich.
