The Huron Residential Hospice shared word of money raised by a benefit hockey game last fall between the London Knights and Erie Otters.

The game which benefited the Hospice raised $7,850.

They say they want to thank Brent Scrimgeour who was the main organizer of the event.

The Otters topped the Knights in a thriller, winning 7-6 in a shootout in the Sept. 24. The announced attendance of the exhibition game was 1106.

The Hospice says the money will be used for nurse education; so two of their staff Anne Shisko and Lisa Menary, are able to take part in nurse professional development.
