The Huron Hospice has received full accreditation from Hospice Palliative Care Ontario for its In Home Hospice Program which has marked 30 years.
The program helps train volunteers with individuals who are facing life limiting illness or in grieving.
To help earn accreditation from HPCO, the Huron Hospice met 221 service standards which includes training, client feedback and governance.
This comes as the Bender House expansion will come in July to support 100 individuals with families every year.
