The Township of Huron-Kinloss advise they have sent annual fire permit renewal invoices out to residents.
They say before you start your next fire do you need a permit? Recreational fires or campfires that follow the regulations on Open Air Burning don’t need a fire permit.
Those that do include properties wishing to conduct open air burning, or property owners, residents or tenants wanting to have a beach fire.
The cost of the Open Air & Beach Fire permit is $10 per year.
You can apply online, in-person at the Township Municipal office or by mail.
