Huron-Kinloss hear from Delegation on Bringing Financial Instution back to Ripley

The Township of Huron-Kinloss heard from a delegation at last night’s Council meeting from Ken MacLeod.

He spoke looking for a letter of support from Council on Kindred Credit Union setting up a branch in Ripley.

He stated in his letter that there is a genuine interest in the community of having a financial institution back in town.

He added that Kindred has an excellent track record and he would like their community included int eh Credit Unions expansion plans as they grow from their current 8 locations.

Ripley last had a Financial Institution until February of last year when RBC closed its Branch.
