Huron-Kinloss to see long-term CAO Mary Rose Walden Retire Next Year after 33 Years

During her tenure as CAO and previously as Administrator Treasurer and Clerk Treasurer for the former Township of Huron she has provided conscientious management & trusted advice to Council and Staff ensuring success of the municipality.

The Township of Huron-Kinloss announced on Friday that after 33 years of dedicated service Mary Rose Walden will be retiring from her position as Chief Administration Officer effective March 31st, 2024.

During her tenure as CAO and previously as Administrator Treasurer and Clerk Treasurer for the former Township of Huron Ms. Walden has provided conscientious management and trusted advice to Council and Staff ensuring success of the municipality.

Mayor Don Murray says he considers it a priveledge to have had an opportunity to work with Mary Rose.

He says she will leave a legacy of innovation and integrity that has set the stage for future success of the municipality.

He adds her passion and devotion will never be matched.
