Huron OPP catch Impaired Driver after being stopped for Speeding in Central Huron

A 27 year old male of Huron East has been charged with operation while impaired and operation impaired 80 plus.

Huron County OPP have charged a driver with impaired operation after they were caught speeding on Huron Road in Central Huron.

Officers were conducting radar enforcement on the evening of Sunday, January 22nd when officers stopped a vehicle for speeding.

While speaking to the driver they noted signs of impairment, and they were subsequently put under arrest.

A 27 year old male of Huron East has been charged with operation while impaired and operation impaired 80 plus.

Their vehicle has been impounded for 7 days and their drivers license suspended for 90 days. They are set to appear in a Goderich county on March 27th.
