Huron OPP charge ACW resident after report from Concerned Citizen in Goderich Monday

Officers had reason to believe theiy were impaired by drug and they were subsequently arrested. A suspected cannabis device was found on the driver during the search.

Huron County OPP have charged a 36-year-old of Ashfield Colborne Wawanosh after a concerned citizen reported unusual driving behaviour on Monday.

Officers responded to the complaint in Goderich where the driver appeared to have their left leg out of the drivers window in Town at around 9:30 Monday morning.

Officers located the vehicle and driver in a parking lot.

Officers had reason to believe theiy were impaired by drug and they were subsequently arrested. A suspected cannabis device was found on the driver during the search.

A 36-year-old male of ACW was charged with operation while impaired.

Their vehicle has been impounded for 7 days and their license suspended for 90.

They are set for an appearance in a Goderich court on March 27th.
