Huron OPP charge Bluewater Man with Multiple Charges after Stop in Belgrave Monday Night

In addition to the impaired charge the driver was also charged for an offence under the Liquor License Control act.

Huron County OPP have charged a Bluewater resident with impaired operation following a failed roadside test Monday evening in Belgrave.

Officers stopped the 25-year-old male on Queen Street in Morris-Turnberry Township. Police speaking with the driver led to the roadside screening device being used.

The subsequent failure resulted in them being placed under arrest.

In addition to the impaired charge the driver was also charged for an offence under the Liquor License Control act.

The drivers vehicle has been impounded for 7 days and their license suspended for 90 days.

They are set for  a March 27th appearance in a Goderich court.
