Huron OPP charge Morris-Turnberry resident after Stolen Road signs & more found in Ditched Pickup Mar. 5th

A 20-year-old male has been charged with 2 counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Huron County OPP have charged a Morris-Turnberry resident after an investigation into an abandoned pickup truck in a ditch in Wingham on Sunday, March 5th.

Police were called to the scene on Alice Street around 8am.

When located it contained 10 stolen road signs and a stolen drive-through sign from McDonalds in Wingham.

During the investigation it was revealed the vehicle’s owner had been operating it on the date in question and they were arrested April 2nd.

A 20-year-old male has been charged with 2 counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

They are set for an appearance at a Goderich court on May 29th.
