Huron County OPP tased a 29-year-old Huron East resident they allege was uttering threats toward their officers on Tuesday.

Around 9:30 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on Brandon Road near Ethel. OPP say when they arrived, they interacted with a man at the residence who was verbally abusive and uttered threats towards them.

The man left the residence and was allegedly non-compliant with officers, so police deployed their taser, which they say allowed them to safely place him under arrest. The man was transported to the detachment in Clinton for processing and was charged with uttering threats.
