The Huron Residential Hospice has received support from Joe Kerr Limited who are celebrating 100 years of producing aggregate and related services.
The Wingham based group donated $15,000 to the Hospice for the purchase of a bath chair for residents.
This chair allows staff to transfer a resident from their bed into the chair and with the help of hydraulics can get residents lowered into a tub.
The hospice says this chair will get a lot of use to allow residents who otherwise might not get a bath to have one.
