The results are in from the Huron Residential Hospice and their Giving Tuesday fundraiser yesterday.
They had hoped to raise $10,000 but when everything was said and done they raised over $25,000 from over 105 donors.
Local groups doing their part included the Tiverton & District Lions Club donating $1,000 and Bruce Power matched donation match of $5,000 they said added lots of excitement to the day.
Also announced was campaign by the Society of United Professionals who will be matching donations to the Hospice until the end of the year to a maximum of $10,000.
