Huron Shores Hospice thanks Women in Carpentry Cohort for Work Building Deck

The Huron Shores Hospice saw a new deck installed at their facility thanks to UBC Local 2222 as well as participants in the 1st cohort of the Women in Construction Program in Huron-Kinloss.

The Hospice thanked them all for creating a lovely family space that will be used by their residents and family members.

They add they are grateful for the amazing support and to the families who supported the build as well.

The next cohort of the Women in Construction Program, run in partnership between Bruce County, Huron-Kinloss, Fanshawe College, VPI Working Solutions and UBC Local 2222 is September 2023.
