Don Huston has been named as the acting Deputy Fire Chief for Station 12 with the Kincardine Fire & Emergency Services.
Huston, a senior captain with the fire department fills the role as Deputy Fire Chief after Matt Cottrill retired on January 1st after 22 years of service.
The municipality has sent their thanks to Matt for his many years and contributions to the fire department.
Huston will take on the role on an interim basis until a new Deputy Fire Chief has been chosen.
