Ice time is changing in Wingham at the Wescast Community Complex.
For many months now various groups have come to council requesting either an extension in ice time at the arena or to have the ice in early.
The regular ice season runs from October 1st to March 31st.
A new policy has been approved which will allow pre-season or extended ice bookings to be considered at a two week time frame before or after the start of ice.
The updated policy will also require groups to book a minimum of 35 hours of ice per week to be considered for early or extended use of ice.
