Bruce County is implementing an Idle Fee Parking Charge effecting Saturday at all of its County owned EV charging stations.
Once a vehicle is charged, the EV owner will have a 20-minute grace period to move it.
If the vehicle is not moved within that window their account and credit card will be charged 50 cents per minute.
A Parking Charge Fee notification will be displayed on the EV charging station display. There will also be notifications through the charging station app.
The stations are located at the Bruce County Admin Centre in Walkerton, Peninsula Hub in Wiarton, Bruce County Museum in Southampton and Penetangore Hub in Kincardine.
