Impaired Driver charged after reporting Suspicious Vehicle to Police in Chatsworth

41-year-old of Owen Sound drove to Detachment Friday, July 14th just before 11pm to report suspicious vehicle following them.

The Grey Bruce OPP have charged a driver with impaired operation after they drove to the detachment in Chatsworth late Friday evening to report being followed by a suspicious vehicle.

Both vehicles arrived around 10:54 pm and the leading vehicle’s driver displayed signs of impairment by alcohol.

The 41-year-old of Owen Sound has been charged with impaired operation and operation 80 plus.

The accused has been released and is set to appear in an Owen Sound court on August 3rd.

No charges were announced for the trailing vehicle.
