An impaired driver who nailed a mailbox has been arrested.
On June 22nd just after 8:30pm Grey Bruce OPP received a report a vehicle struck a mailbox and drove across the property of a residence on Highway 6 in Northern Bruce Peninsula.
Police found the damaged vehicle down the road from where the damaged mailbox was and while speaking with the driver, police determined they had been drinking.
As a result the 28 year old of Georgian Bluffs has been charged with Fail to Remain and Operation While Impaired.
The accused will appear in Owen Sound court in August.
