An incident that took place in Goderich over the weekend has now led to criminal charges against a London resident.
On Saturday at approximately 9:16am Huron County OPP responded to a Victoria Street business after receiving reports about an individual causing a disturbance.
The suspect approached the investigating officer in an assaultive manner and upon failing to comply with the officer’s demands he was placed under arrest.
A 33 year old male of London has been charged with assaulting a police officer, causing a disturbance and failure to comply with recognizance. The accused has since been released and scheduled to appear next month in a Goderich court to answer to the charges.
