A sharp increase in fatal motorcycle crashes across Ontario has OPP urging drivers and motorcycle riders to be alert, cautious and avoid all risky driving when sharing the road.
This year so far 36 motorcyclists have died on OPP patrolled roads compared to 23 at this time last year with over half of the deaths coming from driver actions on the part of the motorcyclist.
12 of the deaths occurred last month with another five already this month.
OPP say safe attentive driving is all it takes to prevent the senseless loss of life on roadways.
